Ghana coach Otto Addo is set to announce his squad for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Mali and the Central African Republic next week, the local media have reported.
The matches are scheduled for June 6 and 10.
Addo is likely to include many players from March’s friendlies against Nigeria and Uganda, while also recalling Thomas Partey, Joseph Paintsil, Mohammed Kudus, and Inaki Williams.
This quartet, along with Osman Bukari and Alexander Djiku, missed the previous matches in Morocco but are expected to return to the Black Stars lineup.
However, veteran centre-back Daniel Amartey might miss the upcoming games due to limited playing time with Besiktas in Turkey.
Addo will reveal his squad next week before addressing the media in his official unveiling for his second tenure as head coach of the Black Stars.
Ghana will travel to Bamako on June 6 to face the Eagles of Mali, followed by a match against the Central African Republic at the Baba Yara Stadium on June 10.
Otto Addo and his team aim to bounce back after losing to Nigeria and drawing with Uganda in the recent friendlies.
