The qualifying draw for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) is expected to be held by the end of April.
According to a report by BSNSports.com.ng, the draw will be held at the headquarters of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in Egypt.
However, the report adds that no specific date has been set by Africa’s football governing body, CAF.
The quartet of Liberia, Chad, Eswatini and Niger qualified for the group stage last month after cruising past their opponent in the preliminary round and will now participate in the qualifying draw.
The Black Stars, who have suffered a back-to-back AFCON group phase elimination will hope for a favourable draw as they hope to make an amend in the next AFCON.
Meanwhile, Ghana, the four-time African Cup of Nations champions, is placed 14th in Africa and 68th overall.
Morocco will host the 2025 AFCON.
