Liverpool 0-3 Nottingham Forest: I didn’t expect win but it’s happened- Morgan Gibbs-White

Nottingham Forest midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White says he didn’t expect his team to score a big win over Liverpool away from home but added that the win was a deserved one.

In an interview with Premier League Productions after Nottingham Forest’s stunning 3-0 win over Liverpool at Anfield, the England international was in disbelief.

Forest continued its impressive turn of events since Sean Dyche was appointed as manager of the club following Ange Postecoglou’s dismissal after just 39 days in charge.

“I didn’t expect it but it’s happened. I thought the boys were brilliant today. Delighted we got the three points. We felt comfortable even though we didn’t have the ball. We were defensively secure and that’s credit to the boys and the manager.”

“Delighted to get another goal but we got a clean sheet and three points at Anfield, which is an incredible thing” Gibbs-White said.

The loss to Nottingham is Liverpool’s sixth in seven league games.
