After his extensively reported departure from Liverpool FC to Real Madrid this offseason, English full back Trent Alexander-Arnold is set to return to Anfield.
Real Madrid travel to England to take on Liverpool on Tuesday, November 4 in the UEFA Champions League at 20:00 GMT at the group phase of the continental championship.
Liverpool head into the game with an uneven form as the Reds have just two wins in seven games in all competitions but Alexander-Arnold’s return after a far from pleasant departure is the biggest talking point of the game but midfielder Ryan Gravenberch says he will give his former teammate a more hospitable reception.
“From the fans I don’t know, but he’s obviously a friend of mine so I will give him a hug of course. Not a lot of messages but I’ll see him tomorrow” Gravenberch said in a pre-game presser according to the BBC.

Liverpool head coach Arne Slot echoed Gravenberch’s sentiments and added that Alexander Isak, Jeremie Frimpong and Alisson Becker will miss the game due to injury.
