We will have a natural grass playing surface in the near future, said the CEO of Hohoe United.

Chief Executive Officer of Hohoe United, Edem Ansah, has stated that his club will have a grass playing surface in the near future.

Hohoe United’s home venue has an artificial grass playing surface and has generated a ton of conversation over the influence of the surface on Hohoe’s outstanding home results.

The Volta Region based team went unbeaten at home route to qualifying from the Access Bank Division One Zone Three to the Ghana Premier League (GPL).

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Citi Sports, Edem Ansah, commented on the issue and added that the club has plans to switch to a natural grass playing surface.

“Plans are far advanced…and I believe, before the start of the season, the grass field would also be done because not all venues are astro.”

“However, you would have to admit that you will play some matches on astro and you will play some on grass so you have to have both so that you can train and be used to both so that you don’t find yourself wanting” Edem Ansah said.
