Ghanaian football star Andre Dede Ayew has shared the secret to his sustained successful career, revealing that making adjustments to his lifestyle, training, and diet has been key to his longevity at the top level.

In an interview with the BBC, Ayew emphasized the importance of discipline and sacrifice in maintaining a high level of performance over the years.

“As you’re growing older, you need to train more. It’s even harder to stop yourself from eating certain foods. We Africans, especially, like to eat good food. But at some point, you have to make a lot of sacrifices,” Ayew said.

With a career spanning over a decade in top European leagues, including the English Premier League and French Ligue 1, Ayew’s experience and insights offer valuable lessons for young players looking to emulate his success.

He has played for several top clubs, including West Ham, Swansea City, and Nottingham Forest in the English Premier League, and Olympique Marseille in the French Ligue 1.

Ayew’s impressive career has also seen him make over 100 appearances in the English Premier League and 209 appearances for Olympique Marseille. He has also represented Ghana at three FIFA World Cups.
