Ghana star Mohammed Kudus determined to bounce back from difficult season

West Ham United midfielder Mohammed Kudus has vowed to elevate his performances during a challenging season.

The Ghana international, who impressed during his debut season at the London club, has struggled to replicate his form this term.

In 18 league appearances, the 24-year-old has contributed just three goals and one assist, sparking criticism from some quarters.

Speaking to West Ham’s official website, Kudus acknowledged the dip in his performance and reaffirmed his commitment to turning things around.

“I set higher standards for myself. I’m not there yet, but we keep working because, individually and as a team, we all know the reality of the situation we are in,” Kudus said.

“I want to get a higher number of goals and assists and, most importantly, get more points for the team.”

Last season, Kudus was instrumental for the Hammers, scoring eight goals and providing six assists in the Premier League while averaging 75 minutes per game.
