Ghana forward Richmond Boakye-Yiadom bid an emotional farewell to his late father, Chief Inspector Akwasi Boakye, who passed away at 60.
The funeral service, held at the R/C Primary School Park in Essumeja last weekend, was a solemn yet celebratory event, drawing a large crowd of family, friends, former teammates, and well-wishers from across the country.

“My father was my hero, my mentor, and my biggest supporter. His values and guidance shaped who I am today, both as a footballer and as a man,” Boakye-Yiadom shared during his tribute.
