We are not afraid of Nigeria – Hafiz Ibrahim on Black Galaxies’ second leg clash

Black Galaxies midfielder Hafiz Ibrahim has remarked that Ghana’s National Men’s Football Team, which is limited to Ghana-based players, is not afraid of Nigeria.

He stated this prior of the Galaxies’ second leg match against Nigeria in Abuja on December 28 in the CHAN qualifications, following a goalless draw in the first leg.

The winner of the tie qualifies to compete in the 2025 CHAN that will take place in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.

Sounding optimistic as Black Galaxies head coach Mas-ud Dramani, who stated that his team will definitely grab a goal in Nigeria, Ibrahim was confident that Ghana will get a positive result in Nigeria.

“When we go out there and we out our best we know victory will be ours so we are not afraid of anyone. Insha Allah we are going to qualify for Ghana.”

Ghana is aiming to make it back to back qualifications to the CHAN after crashing out of the 2022 edition at the quarterfinal stage.

The Black Galaxies have competed in two CHAN Finals, but have failed to advance.
