Former Black Galaxies head coach Annor Walker is confident the team will beat their Nigerian counterparts in the first leg of the 2024 CHAN Qualifiers at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The home-based Ghana national team will host Nigeria on Sunday, December 22, 2024, in the playoffs.
Walker led the Black Galaxies to overcome Nigeria in the playoffs of the 2022 tournament and believes Dramani can do the same.
“What they are doing at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence does not indicate that they will lose or draw at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday,” Walker told Asempa FM.
“I know that Didi Dramani will win the first leg before they go to Nigeria for the reverse fixture.”
Ghana will face the home-based Super Eagles at the Accra Sports Stadium this coming Sunday before traveling to Nigeria a week later for the reverse fixture.
The winner of the two ties will qualify for the tournament to be hosted in East Africa next year.
