Ghanaian star Thomas Partey finally discloses daughter’s name.

Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey celebrated in style during Arsenal’s dominant 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest in the Premier League last Saturday, dedicating his spectacular strike to his daughter, Alaia.

The 31-year-old unleashed a powerful long-range shot to score Arsenal’s second goal of the game, marking his second goal of the season after a similar effort against Aston Villa earlier in the campaign.

After scoring, Partey celebrated by placing one hand on his mouth and pointing towards the crowd, a gesture meant for his daughter.

“This goal is for you, ALAIA,” Partey later wrote on Instagram, publicly mentioning her name for the first time.

He and his partner, Janine Mackson, welcomed Alaia earlier this year, with Partey often sharing heartwarming moments with her on social media.

Partey’s outstanding form has been pivotal for Arsenal as they push for their first Premier League title since 2004.

Since joining the Gunners in 2020 from Atletico Madrid, the Ghanaian has established himself as a key figure in Mikel Arteta’s squad.
