Ghana winger Kamaldeen Sulemana looks to be in prime shape as the 2024-2025 English Premier League heads into the busy Christmas period according to Southampton manager Russell Martin.
Martin delivered a very positive outlook on the oft injured winger who made his return from a lengthy injury spell just ahead of the last international window in 2024.
Martin said this in a pre-game conference ahead of The Saints league game against Liverpool on Sunday, November 24 at 14:00 GMT at the St. Mary’s Stadium.
Liverpool go into the fixture leading the league standings with a five point lead while Southampton rank bottom of the standings having picked up just a win in 11 games.
Defender Jan Bednarek and goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale are injured and will miss this weekend’s game but on Kamaldeen, Martin stated,
“Ryan Fraser and Kamaldeen are back properly now. Everything else is pretty much the same.”
Former Stade Rennes player Kamaldeen Sulemana has two appearances in the league at the time of writing and has an assist in his sole EFL Cup appearance.
