The Black Stars of Ghana are set to open their training camp today at 5 PM at the Accra Sports Stadium in preparation for their upcoming matches against Angola and Niger in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The training session is open to the media, allowing fans and journalists to witness the team’s preparations firsthand.
This training camp comes after a disappointing start to the qualifiers, where Ghana recently suffered a 2-0 defeat to Sudan, leaving them in need of a strong response in their next fixtures.
The coaching staff is keen to instill confidence and focus within the squad as they aim to secure crucial points in the upcoming games. As the team gathers for training, players will be working on strategies and honing their skills to ensure they are fully prepared for the challenges ahead.
Ghana will face Angola on November 16 as they aim to revenge the defeat during the reverse future in Kumasi. They will later host Niger in their final game at the Accra Sports Stadium on November 19.
The four-time champions howver have a very slim chance of qualifying for the tournament and would need Sudan to lose both of their last two games to stand a chance.
