Legon Cities tactician Samuel Paa Kwesi Fabin has expressed his displeasure about the level of officiating in the Ghana Premier League campaign.
Fabin indicated his outfit were not fairly treated by the officiating officials, leading to their defeat against Berekum Chelsea on Sunday.
The match week 7, held at the Golden City Park ended 3-1 in favour of Berekum Chelsea, who are poised to clinch their second Premier League title.
The Royals are struggling to find their rhythm in the ongoing Ghanaian top-flight, drawing just one and losing five games out of six games.
“I will plead with referees in the Ghana Premier League to be fair to us. We were denied a clear penalty after the equalizing goal and these are game changers” he said.
Striker Emmanuel Sarpong gave Berekum Chelsea the lead after just 16 minutes into the game but Legon Cities swiftly responded with an equalizer through Suraje Yusif Kamal in the 18th-minute.
Goals from Stephen Amankona and Hubert Gyau ensured the home team secure maximum points in the thrilling clash on Sunday.
Berekum Chelsea are currently 4th on the Ghana Premier League standings with 13 points while Legon Cities sit bottom with just a point.
