Medeama Sporting Club’s youngster, Prince Owusu is upbeat ahead of the team’s encounter against FC Samartex in midweek.
The Tarkwa-based club will lock horns with the defending champions on Wednesday, October 9, to clear their outstanding game in the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season.
Speaking in a pre-match interview ahead of the clash, attacking midfielder Prince Owusu said the ambition is to secure victory against FC Samartex to make the fans of Medeama SC happy.
“We know the last game didn’t end the way we wanted it to but that does not mean it’s the end. We want the fans to come and support us and we will win the match against FC Samartex to make everybody happy,” Prince Owusu said in an interview with the media team of his club.
In the interview, Prince Owusu named Argentina’s Lionel Messi as his football idol.
He said he is confident that joining Medeama SC was the best decision, adding that he believes the club will help him to develop.
“I’m feeling good being here because Medeama is not a small club. I’m confident that Medeama SC will help me,” Prince Owusu said.
