FC Samartex deputy captain, Ebenezer Acquah has assured that they will fight to get the best possible outcome against Raja Casablanca.
The reigning Ghana Premier League champions will be hosted by the Moroccan giants in the second leg of the second round of the preliminary round of games.
Samartex were held to a 2-2 draw against the Accra Sports Stadium in the first leg encounter.
However, ahead of the game this weekend, Acquah, speaking to the club website reiterated the players’ commitment and determination.
According to him, they face a difficult task but he is confident they will fight and get good results.
“It’s obvious that we have a challenging task ahead of us, but we are fully committed to putting forth every effort and utilizing all our resources throughout the entirety of the game to ensure the best possible outcome,” he said.
FC Samartex are expected to train at the Stade Larbi Zaouli on Friday before the game on Saturday, September 21 with kick-off scheduled at 19:00GMT.
The Timber Giants have left the shores of Ghana for Morocco on Thursday morning. They are aiming to play in the group phase of the CAF elite competition in the maiden participation.
