We will build multifunctional academies in all 16 regions – Nana Kwame Bediako

Nana Kwame Bediako, Leader of the New Force, has outlined a bold vision for the future of sports in Ghana.

In his manifesto released on Sunday, September 1, 2024, Bediako announced plans to establish 16 multi-functional sports academies across the country.

This initiative is a key element of his campaign for the presidency of Ghana.

“We’re establishing 16 multifunctional sports academies across all regions because we don’t know where players like Ronaldo or Messi might emerge from.

“They could come from any region, so we won’t discriminate. We’ll ensure there are academies in every part of Ghana to search for and nurture talent everywhere.

These academies will not only help develop and grow talent, but they will also involve the players in their own development.

Additionally, building these multifunctional sports academies will attract educational investors who will partner with the academies.

“This means that while your child might be training to become a footballer, they will also have educational support, ensuring they don’t focus solely on football without acquiring broader knowledge.
