English Premier League side Crystal Palace is reportedly valuing Ghana forward Jordan Ayew at approximately £10 million as the 2024-2025 season approaches.
The new season is set to begin on Friday, August 16, with Ayew’s Crystal Palace scheduled to play against Brentford away on Sunday, August 18.
This valuation comes amid growing interest from Saudi Pro League clubs, with several wealthy Middle Eastern teams reportedly eyeing the experienced forward. Additionally, journalist Alan Nixon has revealed that Leicester City has shown interest in Ayew.
Ayew, who previously worked under Leicester City manager Steve Cooper at Swansea City, could serve as a potential replacement for Nigerian striker Kelechi Iheanacho if he moves to Leicester.
Entering the final year of his contract with Crystal Palace, Ayew finds himself behind Senegalese international Ismaila Sarr in the team’s lineup. Sarr recently joined Palace from Olympique Marseille, further impacting Ayew’s position in the squad.
Ayew had a reduced role at Palace towards the end of last season under new manager Oliver Glasner.
