Ghanaian forward Antoine Semenyo‘s stellar performance throughout AFC Bournemouth’s 2023-2024 English Premier League (EPL) campaign has earned him commendation from Bournemouth’s Chief Executive, Neill Blake.

Following his standout contributions, the 24-year-old has secured a five-year contract extension with The Cherries, marking a significant milestone since his move from Bristol City.

In a statement issued by Bournemouth, Blake praised Semenyo’s pivotal role in the team’s 12th place finish last season, highlighting his remarkable progress since joining the club 18 months ago.

“It has been clear for all to see the rate of Antoine’s development since joining 18 months ago. He has gone from strength to strength, and enjoyed an incredible first full season with us.

“Agreeing on a new long-term contract was important for us to recognize his contribution as a key member of our squad, and we’re excited to see this continue for years to come.”

Semenyo’s impressive campaign included eight goals and two assists in 36 appearances across all competitions.
