President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kurt Okraku has indicated that his administration is taking the GFA Elite Football Academy very seriously.
Speaking after visiting the academy to interact with players, Kurt Okraku indicated that the plan is to discover the next superstar from the academy.
“Every new thing starts with challenges. Over time, we’ll steady the ship and make it comfortable for everyone associated with the Academy.
“We are looking forward to discovering the next generation of superstars like Kudus (Mohammed), Gyan (Asamoah) and Adjoa Bayor,” Kurt Okraku said.
The Ghana FA president continued, “We’ll continue to monitor your progress as you continue on this football journey and provide you with the support you need to thrive in your endeavours.”
The GFA Elite Academy has a boys and girls team.
The selected players are not only being groomed to become professional footballers but are being given education as well.
