2023/24 Ghana Premier League: Dreams FC host relegated RTU on Wednesday to clear last outstanding game

The last outstanding match of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season will be played on Wednesday, June 12.

The outstanding fixture between Dreams FC and Real Tamale United (RTU) will be played tomorrow before the final round of games next weekend.

The game was originally scheduled to be played during matchday 28 but had to be postponed due to Dreams FC’s participation in the CAF Confederation Cup.

In a communique from the Ghana FA on Tuesday, it stressed that the rescheduled match will be played on Wednesday as planned.

“Dreams FC will battle bottom-placed Real Tamale United in an outstanding Ghana Premier League game on Wednesday, June 12, 2024. The game which was postponed because of Dreams FC’s CAF Confederation Cup campaign will be cleared before the final round of matches this weekend,” the statement from the GFA said.

Dreams FC hopes to defeat relegated RTU to improve the chances of escaping relegation at the end of the season.

The game is scheduled for 3 pm kick-off at the Theatre of Dreams at Dawu.
