Ghana midfielder Thomas Partey turns down Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbache

Turkish outfit Fenerbache have been pushing for the acquisition of Arsenal and Ghana star Thomas Partey over the past five days.

But the Black Stars midfielder will not be joining the Turkish outfit despite the arrival of legendary coach Jose Mourinho.

Partey has received more lucrative offers from Saudi Arabian clubs and is currently weighing up his options

Aside Saudi Arabian clubs, Partey has also attracted interest from Barcelona and Juventus, which means Fenerbache faces a daunting task in securing the services of the former Atletico Madrid star.

The future of the Black Stars midfielder at Arsenal hangs in the balance with twelve months left on his contract.

According to reports in the media, the Gunners are ready to sanction the sale of the Ghanaian midfielder in the ongoing transfer window with just a year left on his existing contract.

The Premier League outfit are said to be on the market searching for Partey’s replacement ahead of next season.

Partey is currently with the Black Stars and will lead the four time champions in the 2026 World Cup qualifying games against Mali and Central Africa Republic.
