Following another successful season for Paris Saint-Germain, Kylian Mbappe was named Ligue 1 Player of the Season for the fifth time in a row.

The award ceremony, organised by the UNFP (French Players’ Union), honoured Mbappe’s outstanding achievements as he produced the goods in front of goal to fire Paris Saint-Germain to another league title.

Throughout the season, the 25-year-old showcased his remarkable goal-scoring prowess, netting an impressive total of 44 goals across all competitions for the Parisian club, with 27 of them coming in the French top flight in 29 appearances.

A big thank you for the love you have given me all these years. I will never forget those special moments I was able to spend with you.

Thanks to my teammates and the staff of this special and prestigious club PSG for constantly allowing me to be the best possible version of myself. I leave with my head held high but never forgetting I am forever grateful. THANK YOU ❤️ @ligue1ubereats @psg.”

As the season draws to a close, Mbappe and PSG still have two more Ligue 1 fixtures to contest, against Nice and Metz, before they turn their focus to the French Cup final against Lyon on May 25. Although the forward once again failed to propel PSG to the much-coveted Champions League trophy, he can still end his stint in France by bagging a domestic double.
