Ghanaian youngster Samuel Amo-Ameyaw scores in Southampton U-21’s defeat to Manchester United U-21

In a thrilling final game of the Premier League 2 season, Southampton’s Under-21 team faced a formidable challenge against Manchester United, ultimately succumbing to a 6-3 defeat.

However, amidst the intense contest, young English-born Ghanaian prodigy Samuel Amo-Ameyaw emerged as a beacon of talent for the Saints.

The match kicked off with a burst of excitement as Amo-Ameyaw swiftly capitalized on a kick-off routine, slotting the ball into the net within the opening minute. Amo-Ameyaw’s goal stunned Manchester United.

Despite Southampton’s promising start, Manchester United’s Ethan Wheatley retaliated with two rapid-fire goals, shifting the momentum in favor of the visitors.
