It is a good feeling to score against PSG – Andre Ayew

Ghana captain, Andre Ayew, expressed his satisfaction with scoring against Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) due to his previous association with Olympique Marseille.

Ayew, who began his professional career at Marseille, PSG’s fiercest rivals, spent eight years with the club.

The 34-year-old scored for Le Havre, resulting in a 3-3 draw with PSG at the Parc de Prince on Saturday. This verdict postponed PSG’s anticipated Ligue 1 victory celebrations.

Following the match, Ayew highlighted the intense rivalry between PSG and Marseille. He stated, “It is a good feeling, you know, to score against Paris, especially because I am a Marseille boy. The rivalry between the two clubs is very significant,” in an interview with journalist Nana Ama Agyemang.

Ayew further expressed his contentment with his current situation, saying, “Everything is going really well. Personally, I am physically fit. I am gradually regaining my optimal form. I was sidelined due to an injury for a period of time, which prevented me from signing with a club early on.”
