“It is an amazing feeling,” said Abdul Fatawu Issahaku after scoring Leicester City’s first hat-trick.

Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, a Ghana winger, expressed his joy after scoring his first hat-trick for Leicester City, calling the experience “amazing.”

The 20-year-old winger netted three times as Leicester dominated Southampton, moving closer to securing the Championship title.

Issahaku opened the scoring in the 25th minute and added two more goals in the second half, contributing to Leicester’s commanding 5-0 victory at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday night.

This memorable hat-trick marked a significant milestone for the young Ghanaian, who joined Leicester on loan from Sporting CP during the summer transfer window.

He played a part in four out of the five goals on the night, including assisting Jamie Vardy.

Reflecting on his performance, Issahaku told Leicester’s media team: “I don’t think I can fully express how I feel because it’s just so amazing and I’m so happy.”

“This is what we’re here to do, and we’ll continue to work hard to achieve our goals. I’m ecstatic.”

“We’ve come a long way, and we won’t let what we have slip away. We’ll keep pushing until we reach our destination.”

Abdul Fatawu Issahaku has scored 6 goals and 12 assists to his credit.
