Hope to keep Antoine in this form till season’s end- Bournemouth Coach on Semenyo’s brace

AFC Bournemouth manager, Andoni Iraola, has praised forward Antoine Semenyo for his quality performances for the team.

He said this after Semenyo scored twice in Bournemouth’s 4-3 win over Luton Town in an outstanding English Premier League game that had The Cherries comeback from a 3-0 half time deficit to score the win.

Semenyo’s goals put Bournemouth level and put them up with Semenyo’s powerfully struck second goal being the match winner.

The Black Stars forward has been in fine form since the turn of the year and has attributed his uptick in goal scoring form due to his ability to confuse defenders.

On the part of his manager, Iraola described Semenyo as a threat who can score with either foot and wished the former Bristol player keeps this form going.

“Antoine is in a very good form. I think he has been close to scoring in almost every game the last games he has played. He is always a threat he can score (with his) right foot, left foot…but let’s hope we can keep him in this form until the end.”
