Crystal Palace captain Joel Ward has tagged Jordan Ayew as a player whose quality is second to none in the team when speaking on his teammates.
He said this after Palace’s 3-1 win over Burnley in the English Premier League which doubled as Ayew’s 200th appearance for the London side. Jordan Ayew has 23 goals and 21 assists in his Palace career.
It also marked Oliver Glasner’s debut as Palace manager after the German was confirmed as manager of The Eagles as Roy Hodgson’s replacement.
Ayew scored and assisted Chris Richards goal in the win over Burnley and played a key role in the much needed win for Palace and his contributions were not lost on Ward.
Ward named recently signed right fullback Daniel Munoz as a player who deserves praise for his brilliant start to life at Selhurst Park.
“I think Jordan, at times, goes under the radar, but what he provides and what he does for his team is second to none.”
Jordan Ayew has six assists and six goals in 24 English Premier League appearances this season. He missed games for Palace due to his participation in the 2023 AFCON with Ghana’s Black Stars.
