Ghana Football Association President Kurt Okraku says he does not to see the Black Stars miss out on any World Cup tournament under his reigns.
The Black Stars has missed out ones since making their debut appearance at World Cup in 2006.
However, Kurt Okraku intends to lead the Black Stars to the biggest soccer mundial on regular basis.
“I want our Black Stars to be at every global mundial at every given opportunity” he said.
“I call on you to support us to qualify to the World Cup in USA, Mexico and Canada. Again, collectively, with your support, we shall get there” he added.
The West Africa giants started the 2026 World Cup qualifications with a win and defeat against Madagascar and Conoros respectively.
Ghana inflicted a narrow win over Madagascar at the Baba Yara Stadium before succumbing to defeat against Comoros.
Comoros once again emerged victorious against Ghana, securing back-to-back wins against the Black Stars in recent meetings.
In the matchday two clash of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers held at the Stade Malouzini in Moroni, the Coelacanths triumphed over the Black Stars with a narrow 1-0 victory.
Comoros currently leads the Group I standings with a perfect record of 6 points from two games.
At the ‘Meet thePress’ in Kumasi, Okraku emphasized the need for the Black Stars to qualify for every World Cup event and has therefore vowed to do his best to ensure Ghana’s qualification for the global showpiece.
