Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Council member, Nana Oduro Sarfo beleives the Black Stars can record a win against Egypt with the right player selection.
Ghana are in search of their first win at the ongoing 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
The Black Stars opened their campaign with an astonishing 2-1 defeat against Cape Verde on Sunday.
With the team set to take on the record champions at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium in Abidjan later tonight, Nana Oduro Sarfo says the players have their destiny in their own hands but added that with the right player selection for the game, the team will be able to triumph over the North African side.
“There is no motivation that is bigger than them trying to win today’s game there is no motivation that is bigger than they motivating themselves,” he told Adom FM.
“After the match, we have spoken to them a lot but they have their motivation in their hands. They are holding their destiny in their hands I believe with a good lineup today I think we will see heaven,” the former Berekum Chelsea Chief Executive Officer (CEO) added.
The game has been scheduled to kick off at 20:00GMT.
