Michael Olise shushes Chelsea fans just four months after failed £35m move to Stamford Bridge

Michael Olise silenced the Chelsea supporters as he found the back of the net at Stamford Bridge.

The French forward is part of the Crystal Palace side competing in west London and caused heaps of problems during the first half.

Olise caused heaps of problems for Chelsea

While Mykhailo Mudryk gave the Blues the lead, it was Olise who made his presence felt shortly before the break when he latched onto a wonderful cross from Jordan Ayew before hammering it low and hard into the back of the net.

Olise was the subject of intense interest from Chelsea over the summer with Mauricio Pochettino’s side close to triggering his £35million release clause.

However, that move fell through with Olise instead penning a new four-year deal to stay at Selhurst Park.

The Chelsea fans clearly remembered that failed transfer, as did Olise, who celebrated by putting his finger over his lips to shush the home fans while sticking another finger in his ear to suggest he was ignoring the noise.

With that goal being the 22-year-old’s third goal in just eight appearances this season, it seems that there’ll be a lot more noise to come around the Palace star’s future.

Unfortunately for Olise, it was Chelsea who got the last laugh as Noni Madueke scored a late penalty to earn a late, much-needed win for Pochettino’s side.
